Sovos seeks a Principal Solution Architect for Embedded Platforms in the United States to lead strategic technical initiatives, embedding Sovos technology into partner products. You will shape integration architectures, influence product direction and mentor architects while collaborating with Product, Engineering and Compliance teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

You will engage with executives, drive architecture workshops, and represent Sovos in partner engagements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years in product, tax/ERP tech consulting or similar roles.
• Proven understanding of global tax compliance and indirect tax processes.
• Experience designing enterprise integration solutions using APIs, webhooks, cloud-native tech.
• Experience with tax compliance, ERP integration, e-invoicing or regulatory tech.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures.
• Experience supporting ISVs through solution architecture or partnerships.
• Proven success managing complex technical relationships with enterprise vendors.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence senior executives.
• Strong collaboration across Product, Engineering, Sales and Customer Success teams.
• Willingness to travel 10-25%.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical discovery and solution architecture for strategic ISV partnerships.
• Deliver architecture documentation, designs and implementation roadmaps.
• Design enterprise-grade integration architectures using APIs and cloud-native tech.
• Review API integration approaches including REST APIs and webhooks.
• Establish governance and testing frameworks for partner integrations.
• Set strategic technical objectives across embedded partnerships.
• Guide resolution of technical challenges affecting strategic partners.
• Establish governance for partner health monitoring and integration quality.
• Build trusted relationships with Product, Engineering and Compliance leaders.
• Deliver executive presentations, architecture workshops and strategic reviews.
• Mentor Solution Architects and promote best practices across the organization.
• Maintain deep expertise in global tax compliance and ERP ecosystems.
• Collaborate with Product and Compliance SMEs to share knowledge; influence future product capabilities.
• Support strategic pre-sales discovery activities for embedded partnerships.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Partner Account Managers and Sales Engineers throughout design and delivery.
• Represent Sovos at customer events and industry conferences.
