Job Description:

We are looking for a Storage and Backup Administrator to join the team of an important client in Lisbon.

Requirements:

• Backup Management: Design, implement, and manage enterprise backup solutions using Backup Exec, Avamar, DELL EMC DataDomain, NETWORKER, and Veeam, covering all systems, applications, and databases.
• Develop data protection policies and continuously improve backup and storage processes.
• Tape Storage Management (archiving with policies).
• Develop plans for business continuity by implementing best practices for each sector, application, and database, including disaster simulations with recovery points and solution hardening. Also, conduct audit responses for compliance.
• Manage all Backup infrastructure, including hardware, cabling, virtualization, etc.
• Lead a major project: Roadmap from Veritas Backup Exec, Avamar, DELL Networker with DataDomain to VEEAM.
• Storage Management: Install and manage enterprise storage systems (NetApp, HP 3PAR, HP Alletra), ensuring high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery.
• Incident management, including resolution and communication.
• Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for Storage and Backups.
• Participate in project development directly with teams.
• Manage SAN/NAS and FC (ISCSI, SFPs, FC).
• Systems administration for VMware, Hyper-V, and Proxmox virtualization platforms.
