Qualificações

• Experiência com Young Life e capacidade de trabalhar em um ambiente multicultural.
• Compromisso mínimo de três anos requerido.
• Habilidades de comunicação e manutenção de confidencialidade.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrar liderança espiritual e participar da vida da comunidade Young Life.
• Recrutar e treinar novos líderes e desenvolver um plano para líder voluntário.
• Manter informações precisas sobre filhos, líderes e doadores.

Description

We are looking for a staff associate to join our developing ministry in Portugal. Working with the area director and a growing Portuguese team, you’ll have the opportunity to be a part of pioneering ministry in this country. With more than 5 prominent international schools in the area, there is a rapidly growing and enthusiastic international community in the Lisbon area, for which we are looking for a person with the heart and focus to serve. Responsibilities

• Demonstrate spiritual leadership on a personal and professional level.
• Actively participate in the spiritual life of the Young Life community.
• Model excellence in contact work, club, Campaigners and camping to other leaders.
• Learn to recruit and train new leaders to build a relationship team that reflects the community.
• Develop a plan to train, disciple and develop volunteer leaders.
• Raise 100% of financial support per individual budget and maintain good donor care practices.
• Communicate ministry updates and progress to personal donor partners.
• Maintain accurate information on kids, leaders and donors for area records.
• Participate in staff events and training events as required.
  
  

Qualifications

• Young Life volunteer leader experience required; Young Life team leader experience preferred.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a multicultural, multilingual environment.
• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Three-year minimum commitment.
