Claranet limited in Porto, Portugal is seeking an experienced SRE to join our internal team and help run a robust observability platform, ensuring reliability and security across the stack.

You will manage Kubernetes deployments, optimize cloud infrastructure on GCP, design scalable monitoring and tracing solutions, and work closely with engineering to raise operational excellence. This role sits in Porto and offers opportunities to advance automation and incident handling.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as an SRE/Platform/DevOps role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native infrastructure and services.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, metrics collection, and distributed tracing.

Yourresponsibilities include:

• Optimize,maintain, and evolve the company's internal observability platform;

You musthave:

• Provenexperience as an SRE, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role;
  
• Strongknowledge of infrastructure and cloud-native technologies;
  
• Hands-onexperience with Kubernetes (K8s);
  
• Experiencewith observability tools and technologies, including: Prometheus,Grafana,OpenTelemetry, Mimir and/or Thanos (preferred);
  
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
  
• Solidunderstanding of monitoring, logging, metrics collection, and distributedtracing.
