Claranet limited is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their team in Porto, Portugal. The role involves designing and maintaining cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform, leading the implementation of scalable solutions, and managing cloud networking.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with Google Cloud and a mandatory Professional Cloud Architect certification. Additional qualifications in Terraform and Kubernetes are highly valued.

Yourresponsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain cloudarchitectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
  
• Lead the implementation of scalable,secure, and highly available solutions.
  
• Manage and optimize cloudnetworking architectures.
  
• Develop and maintain infrastructureas code using Terraform.
  
• Work with containerizedenvironments, particularly Kubernetes (preferably GKE).
  
• Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  
• Provide technical leadership andmentor team members.
  
• Ensure best practices in cloudsecurity, governance, and cost optimization.
  
• Work with version control systemssuch as GitHub.
  

You musthave:

• Minimum of 5 years of experiencewith Google Cloud Platform.
  
• Google Cloud Professional CloudArchitect certification (mandatory).
  
• Strong knowledge and hands-onexperience with networking concepts.
  
• Proven experience with Terraform.
