Sr Product Manager, Supply Strategy, Surface Transportation

As a Senior Product Manager, your mission is to pioneer new ways of thinking, designing, and delivering solutions. You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the business, continuously scoping out new solutions. Conducting your own research and analysis, you will focus on the long-term vision of the business. This role provides an opportunity to impact some of the most exciting innovations shaping Amazon's future.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Create innovative solutions using data and research to address broader challenges within your organization.
  2. Take a big-picture approach in analyzing business operations, driving improvements across teams and organizations.
  3. Work with senior leadership to establish and prioritize improvements in tech and non-tech products, managing projects from inception to completion.
  4. Enhance operational performance of products in partnership with stakeholders.
A day in the life

As Senior Product Manager, you will lead the implementation of data-driven changes in Amazon, managing improvement projects, tech products, and programs. You will use strategic thinking to define and execute efficient project plans. You will handle complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership, contributing beyond process improvements to areas like diversity, equity, and inclusion.

About the team

The Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team is vital to Amazon’s delivery speed. You will join a diverse team responsible for optimizing air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology. The team leverages data to make informed decisions, driving innovation and efficiency while prioritizing safety and sustainability.

Minimum qualifications
  • A relevant degree and experience in data analysis and reporting for leadership.
  • Experience communicating with stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Excel).
  • Experience with data visualization software (Tableau or Quicksight).
Preferred qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst or Data Scientist.
  • Experience in Product Management and collaboration with tech teams.
  • Degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or an MBA.
  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, or transportation planning.
