WE ARE META is seeking a SQLServer Database Administrator to support production SQLServer environments, implement Always-On availability, and optimize performance. The role focuses on incident management, root-cause analysis, and delivering reliable database services for a range of clients.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on SQLServer experience, strong T-SQL and PowerShell skills, and familiarity with Azure SQL and related tools.

Qualificações

• University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years hands-on experience with Microsoft SQLServer in production environments.
• Strong T-SQL and PowerShell scripting skills; proficient in query tuning.
• Experience with Always-On Availability Groups and Failover Clustering.
• Azure Database Administrator Certification is a plus; SQLServer certifications valued.

Responsabilidades

• Proven track record in incident management, production support and performance tuning.
• Lead incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and audit-quality documentation across the DBA lifecycle.
• Install, configure and manage SQLServer, Always-On AG, and FCI operations.
• Collaborate with Jira and DBeaver teams to support DBA workflows.
• Provide guidance on SQLServer performance improvements and capacity planning.
