You will work with Python, Node.js, React, Supabase, Git, and REST APIs in a performance-sensitive environment, shaping the odds feed infrastructure in a growing company.

Qualificações

• Three to five years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong Python skills as the core technical foundation.
• Experience managing and optimising databases.
• Experience building and maintaining APIs and backend infrastructure.
• Comfort working in performance-sensitive environments with a focus on reliability and latency.
• A self-directed approach and the ability to work well across cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and optimise databases underpinning our odds feed API, keeping them fast, reliable, and well structured as data volumes grow.
• Maintain the data mapping and scheduling systems that bring sports data into the platform, ensuring correct capture and timely delivery.
• Contribute to the scraping network that gathers data from across the sports and esports landscape.
• Build and maintain scalable APIs that serve this data to downstream systems and partners with focus on reliability and latency.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment using modern engineering workflows.
