CEiiA, based in Porto, Portugal, seeks an Engineer | Backend Developer to join the geoSystems Business Unit and deliver state-of-the-art software for space applications.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, cloud-based services, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and scalable architectures. You will design, implement, test, and document software while aligning with CEiiA's standards and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualificações

• Degree or Master in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or related fields.
• At least 3 years of software development experience.
• Proficient in Java, Go or other OOP languages; JVM-based frameworks experience preferred.
• Strong API knowledge: RESTful, RPC or GraphQL and relational/non-relational databases.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain software in the geoSystems unit for space-related products.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and documentation.
• Ensure security, scalability and performance per CEiiA standards.
• Contribute to design, architecture and implementation with a collaborative team.
