Indra Group is hiring a Software Engineer for E2E systems in Portugal to join its Space Engineering team. You will design and implement software modules using CI/CD, contribute to Agile development in Python and other languages, and analyze remote sensing datasets.

The role also involves validation campaigns, test plan definition, performance assessment, and supporting documentation, reviews, and customer interactions. JIRA experience is a plus.

Qualificações

• Engineering or master’s degree in Aerospace, Telecommunications or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Java or C++ and knowledge of ML.
• Experience with software development practices and coding standards.
• Experience using Git as version control.
• Good level of English (spoken and written).
• Nice-to-have: Docker, Kubernetes, Jupyter notebooks, distributed systems, satellite data.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement software modules with CI/CD.
• Develop in Python and/or other languages in an Agile environment.
• Analyze remote sensing datasets.
• Participate in validation campaigns, test plan definition, and performance assessment.
• Support documentation, reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR), and customer interactions.
• Report to the supervisor using management tools (e.g. JIRA).
• Learn key technology concepts on remote sensing, including quality control, calibration and data harmonisation/fusion.
