Closer Consulting, a Data Science company, is seeking a Solution Architect – SAP Integration & Asset Management in Lisbon, adopting a hybrid work model. The role focuses on designing and governing integration solutions across the enterprise landscape, with a strong emphasis on SAP ERP ecosystems and Asset Management.

You will collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure architectures, while supporting governance and enterprise integration

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Application Architect, or Integration Architect.
• Experience integrating SAP ERP/SAP S/4HANA with external systems.
• Knowledge of integration patterns and enterprise architecture patterns.
• Good understanding of security, governance, and access control within architectures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

We are looking for a Solution Architect – SAP Integration & Asset Management to join one of our clients in the Energy sector, in a hybrid work model based in Lisbon.

About the Role

As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in designing and governing integration solutions across the enterprise landscape, ensuring alignment with the organization's application and technology architecture.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to define scalable, secure, and future-proof integration solutions, with a strong focus on SAP ERP ecosystems, Asset Management, and enterprise integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and evolve solution architectures for SAP and non-SAP enterprise systems.
• Define integration patterns, standards, and best practices across the application landscape.
• Design secure, scalable, and maintainable integration solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
• Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support architecture governance activities, ensuring compliance with security and technology standards.
• Contribute to the evolution of SAP-based Asset Management solutions and enterprise integration capabilities.
• Participate in architecture reviews and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery.
• Ensure solution documentation, architectural decisions, and technical standards are properly maintained.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Application Architect, or Integration Architect.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration architectures and integration patterns.
• Experience integrating SAP ERP/SAP S/4HANA with external (non-SAP) systems.
• Good understanding of application security principles, governance, and access control.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical decisions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) or SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Previous experience within Utilities, Energy, or Distribution System Operators (DSO).
• Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite (CPI), SAP PI/PO, APIs, Middleware, or Event-Driven Architecture.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and governance practices.
