xelerate.tech is partnering with Welthungerhilfe to build a new Tech Hub in Porto and is seeking a SAP Solution Architect. You will own the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA architecture, ensure scalable, maintainable solutions, and collaborate with external partners to deliver integrated business applications.

The role requires deep SAP expertise, strong business understanding, and hands-on ownership. Fluency in English is essential, with German a plus; Porto-based or remote-friendly setup offered.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP solution architecture, enterprise architecture or SAP consulting.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA (Public Cloud preferred), SAP BAIP (BTP) and cloud integrations.
• Strong understanding of integration technologies (APIs, middleware, cloud applications).
• Experience working with external implementation partners and multi-vendor environments.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); German skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Define and maintain architecture principles, technical standards, and integration patterns.
• Evaluate new business requirements from an architectural perspective and translate them into sustainable solution concepts.
• Design and govern interfaces and integrations between SAP and non-SAP solutions.
• Act as technical counterpart to implementation partners and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• Lead architecture governance, technical design reviews, and participate in the ZAMI Architecture Board.
• Assess the impact of SAP releases and new technologies on the existing solution landscape.
• Support transition into operations and ensure long-term maintainability of the application landscape.

You have the opportunity to join our team and tackle business challenges in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment characterized by close collaboration between the team and business stakeholders.

As a SAP Solution Architect, you are responsible for the overall solution architecture of Welthungerhilfe’s Business Solutions landscape. You ensure that SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and related business applications are designed according to architectural standards, integrated efficiently, and remain scalable and maintainable throughout their lifecycle. This role combines deep SAP expertise, business understanding, and hands-on ownership.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

Your Skills and Experiences:

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); German language skills are a plus
