YTEC is seeking an experienced Software QA Engineer / Tester to join our innovative team. You’ll work with our QA team to ensure software quality through manual testing, test analysis, troubleshooting, and test automation.

You’ll help build and expand automated testing capabilities using Playwright or Selenium. The role requires planning and executing test plans and cases, performing various testing types, and collaborating with developers, product owners and support to meet user needs and

In this role, you’ll help ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through a combination of manual testing, test analysis, troubleshooting, and test automation. You’ll play an important role in strengthening our QA processes and helping us build and expand our automated testing capabilities using tools such as Playwright or Selenium.

As a Software QA Engineer / Tester at YTEC, you will:

• Work closely with our current QA team member to plan and execute testing activities.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software meets user needs and business requirements.
• Perform manual, exploratory, functional, regression, and usability testing when required.
• Identify, investigate, document, and help troubleshoot software defects.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of our automated testing framework.
• Build automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, or similar automation tools.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive and regression testing activities.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, the existing QA team, and customer support to ensure user expectations are met.
• Clearly communicate test results, defects, risks, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Help improve our overall QA processes, testing practices, and automation strategy.

To excel in this role, you should have:

• 2+ years of experience in software testing, QA, or a similar role.
• Solid knowledge of manual testing methodologies, including functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, or another test automation framework is mandatory.
• Good understanding of software development and QA processes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to investigate problems, understand their root causes, and communicate findings clearly.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with an existing QA team and developers.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to help improve and automate our testing processes.
