Fyld is a Portuguese consulting company specializing in IT services, seeking a Software Solutions Architect to design and implement scalable, secure software architectures for diverse projects in Portugal.

The role requires experience as a software architect, proficiency in multiple languages (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, Go), cloud platform expertise (AWS/Azure/GCP), and strong DevOps/CI-CD know-how. English fluency is essential.

Qualificações

• Degree in CS/IT/SWE or related field, or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Software Architect or similar role experience in software development.
• Familiarity with industry-specific applications and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to design and implement scalable, robust, secure architectures.
• Experience creating architectural diagrams, documentation and design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, SOA, and cloud-native design.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or Go; full-stack knowledge.
• Experience with both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Extensive experience with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud services: compute, storage, databases, networking.
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, GraphQL and integration techniques.
• API management tools and API security best practices.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Database design, optimization and administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs.
• Experience gathering requirements and creating documentation.
• Certifications (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) are a plus.
• Fluent in English.

We are looking for our next Software Solutions Architect:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related;
• Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree;
• Previous experience working as a Software Architect or in a similar role within software development;
• Familiarity with industry-specific applications and regulatory requirements;
• Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, robust, and secure software architectures;
• Proficiency in creating architectural diagrams, documentation, and design patterns;
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), and cloud-native design;
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or Go;
• Experience with both front-end and back-end development technologies;
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud;
• Knowledge of cloud services, including compute, storage, databases, and networking;
• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices;
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation);
• Experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other integration techniques;
• Proficiency in using API management tools and best practices for securing APIs;
• Proficiency in working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra);
• Experience in database design, optimization, and management;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges;
• Ability to design and implement effective and efficient software solutions;
• Experience in managing and delivering software projects within scope, time, and budget constraints;
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and other project management methodologies;
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architecture.
• Experience in gathering and analyzing requirements, and creating comprehensive documentation;
• Certifications. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect/ dditional certifications related to security, project management (e.g., PMP), and Agile methodologies are a plus;
• Fluent in English.
