Fyld in Porto, Portugal is seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and implement scalable data architectures and platforms across cloud environments. The role emphasizes robust data models, data lakes, data warehouses and lakehouse solutions.

You’ll collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists and business stakeholders to define data standards, governance and best practices. Fluency in English is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems or related fields
• Proven experience designing and implementing modern data architectures
• Strong knowledge of data modelling techniques (conceptual, logical and physical)
• Experience designing Data Lakes, Data Warehouses and Lakehouse architectures
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with modern data technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift or BigQuery
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data integration and distributed data architectures
• Experience defining data standards, governance principles and architecture best practices
• Knowledge of SQL, Python and Apache Spark is valued
• Ability to collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Business Analysts and business stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Relevant cloud or architecture certifications are a plus
• Fluency in English
