As a Software Developer / Data Engineer Trainee, you will contribute to innovative business applications, automation tools and data systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams on real-world projects, participate in data pipelines and CI/CD, and

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent fields.
• Basic knowledge and daily usage of Git for version control and collaboration.
• Familiarity with Jira or other issue-tracking tools.
• Good knowledge of Python, Java (Spring Boot is a plus), C++ and scripting languages (Bash, Shell, etc.).
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Awareness of full-stack development concepts and data pipelines / ETL.
• Interest in automation, monitoring and internal tooling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
• Fluency in English.
• Availability to travel occasionally to other locations such as France or Milan.
• Eligible for an IEFP Level VI Internship.

Responsabilidades

• Developing full-stack applications to meet business requirements or enhance internal tools.
• Implementing scripts and automation for data validation, Git operations, testing or system monitoring.
• Participating in data pipeline tasks, including ETL, queries and data integrity checks.
• Contributing to dashboards, alerts and monitoring solutions for teams and production systems.
• Communicating and coordinating with QA, Dev, Data and Delivery teams to align priorities, clarify requirements and support smooth project execution.
• Using Git daily for version control, code collaboration and merges.
• Writing clean, maintainable and tested code.
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Contributing to technical documentation for internal tools and systems.
• Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Participating in team activities, sprint planning and cross-team reviews.

As a Software Developer / Data Engineer Trainee, you will contribute directly to the development of innovative business applications, automation tools and data systems that support Euronext’s operations across Europe. You will collaborate with talented teams, working on real-world projects that enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities

You will be primarily responsible for:

• Developing full-stack applications to meet business requirements or enhance internal tools

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

• Bachelor´s or Master´s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent fields.
• Basic knowledge and daily usage of Git for version control and collaboration
• Familiarity with Jira or other issue-tracking tools
• Good knowledge of standard programming languages such as Python, Java (Spring Boot is a plus), C++ and scripting languages (Bash, Shell, etc.)
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Awareness of full-stack development concepts and data pipelines / ETL
• Interest in automation, monitoring and internal tooling
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams
