act digital in Lisbon is seeking a Hands-On Software Architect to guide multi-disciplinary engineering teams and design scalable, enterprise-grade cloud architectures. You will spearhead technical decisions, explore bleeding-edge tools, and drive modern full-stack and cloud initiatives across business-critical projects.

The role demands hands-on leadership, deep cloud expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker and Kubernetes, and fluency in English. French is a plus.

Qualificações

• Strong experience designing distributed enterprise systems and guiding engineering teams hands-on.
• Hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience across modern backend (Java, Node.js, Python) and frontend (React, Angular, Vue).
• Fluent in English (C1+); working proficiency in French (B2+) is a strong plus.

At act digital, we are recruiting a Hands-On Software Architect to join our client's captive tech hub in Lisbon. In this role, you will spearhead technical decisions, explore bleeding-edge tools, and drive modern full-stack and cloud initiatives across business-critical projects.

What you will do:

• Technical Leadership & Architecture: Lead development teams hands-on, designing scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise architectures from conception to post-production.
• Cloud & Container Orchestration: Lead technical design and resource optimization on Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), leveraging Docker and Kubernetes for seamless deployments.
• Full-Stack Governance: Define development standards and best practices across modern backend (Node.js, Java, Python) and frontend ecosystems (React, Angular, Vue).
• Innovation & Emerging Tech: Continuously explore new industry trends, evaluate technical/business trade-offs, and propose high-value innovative solutions.
• Security & Reliability: Embed security best practices, microservices design patterns, and robust CI/CD automation across all platform components.

What we are looking for:

• Proven Architectural Track Record: Strong experience designing distributed enterprise systems and guiding engineering teams hands-on.
• Cloud & DevOps Depth: Solid hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Polyglot & Full-Stack Mastery: Practical experience across modern backend (Java, Node.js, Python) and frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Mindset: High technical curiosity, continuous learning spirit, and the ability to challenge the status quo with sound technical reasoning.
• Languages: Fluent in English (C1+ minimum); working proficiency in French (B2+) is a strong plus.
