Job summary

Fyld in Porto is seeking an experienced SOC / Security Operations Engineer to join our growing team. You will monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, leveraging SIEMs and EDR/XDR tools to protect client environments.

You bring hands-on SOC experience, knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, IoCs, and incident handling. You will contribute to defining detection rules, participate in threat-hunting exercises, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Experience in Security Operations Centers (SOC) or Blue Team environments.
• Knowledge of EDR/XDR solutions and security monitoring tools.
• Experience with incident detection, investigation and response.
• Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and Indicators of Compromise (IoCs).
• Relevant certifications are a plus.

Your Profile

• Academic background in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related fields
• Experience working in Security Operations Centers (SOC) or Blue Team environments
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar or similar
• Knowledge of EDR/XDR solutions and security monitoring tools
• Experience with incident detection, investigation and response
• Understanding of threat hunting techniques, MITRE ATT&CK and Indicators of Compromise (IoCs)
• Familiarity with vulnerability management and security best practices
• Relevant certifications (SC-200, Security+, CySA+, CEH or equivalent) are a plus
• Fluency in English
