Snr Process Analyst, EU Central Operations

Central Operations represents a strategic initiative within Amazon Logistics aimed at creating a scalable solution for the increasingly complex last mile delivery network. This role focuses on transforming route planning, scheduling, and last mile delivery processes. We seek a Business Analyst to enhance in-station processes and technology within the operational team.

The ideal candidate will excel at gathering data from multiple sources (real-time and batch), developing new metrics, and creating interactive dashboards that facilitate quick decision-making and mitigate in-station volume risks. This role offers the opportunity to build a new operational process from the ground up, establishing metrics, tools, and integrations within AMZL platforms.

The position involves collaboration with teams across planning, transportation, last mile tech, operations, and business expansion to develop a strategic approach for scaling Central Operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Partner with operational teams to define and guide analytical strategies.
2. Retrieve and consolidate data from various sources to support decision-making.
3. Collaborate with analysts and BI engineers to develop analytical solutions aligned with business goals.
4. Design and implement business metrics for leadership reviews and support data infrastructure development.
5. Conduct deep-dives to identify root causes of variances in key parameters.
6. Create business requirements documents and guide technology development based on data insights.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or related field.
• Relevant professional experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel, and statistical analysis tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience with BI tools like Quicksight or Tableau.
• Knowledge of Redshift and AWS database management.
• Experience in creating detailed Business Requirement Documentation.
