BENTELER Automotive, Palmela, Portugal, is seeking an Apprenticeship Program participant in Engineering/SHE to verify equipment compliance, participate in verification before deployment, and assist in designing safe workplaces and work processes.

The candidate will support safety signage installation, promote health at work, advise managers on SHE issues, and help maintain up-to-date documentation as part of a hands-on apprenticeship in the automotive sector.

Qualificações

• Higher education in Engineering or SHE.
• Fluent Portuguese and advanced English.
• Automotive sector experience is desirable.
• Willingness to work in Palmela, Setúbal, Portugal.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures the verification of both existing and new equipment in relation to applicable legal requirements and internal standards.
• Participates in the verification of equipment/machinery, equipment and work processes before implementation and activation.
• Collaborates in the design of workplaces, methods and organization of work, as well as in the choice and maintenance of work equipment.
• Collaborates in the definition of personal protective equipment as well as the installation and maintenance of safety signage.
• Conceives and develops activities and information to promote safety and health at work.
• Advises managers and their employees on SHE issues.
• Continuously reviews processes, methods and standards and promotes improvement actions.
• Uses tools and methods for SHE analysis of root causes in case of deviations, develops corrective and preventive actions, monitors their implementation and measures their effectiveness.
• Keeps all SHE documentation up to date.

Your Personality

• Higher educationin the area of Engineering or SHE;
• Fluent Portuguese and advanced English language skills;
• Experience in the Automotive sector (desirable);
• Availability to work in person in the region of Palmela, in Setúbal, Portugal.
