Your role in our team:

As a Service Sales Specialist, your primary responsibility will be managing the end-to-end process of preparing and submitting proposals related to our service and contract offerings. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze bid requirements, and ensure the timely and accurate submission of proposals. Your expertise is crucial in securing new service deals and renegotiating existing contracts, maintaining strong client relationships.

Tender Preparation:

  • Analyze Bid Requests: Review tender documents, understand client requirements, and identify key evaluation criteria.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Efforts: Collaborate with service delivery teams, purchasing, legal, finance, and technical experts to gather necessary information.
  • Draft Proposals: Prepare comprehensive and competitive service proposals addressing client needs, pricing, and terms.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with tender specifications.

Bid Management:

  • Timeline Management: Develop and maintain a tender calendar for timely submissions.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate risks associated with each tender and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Negotiation Support: Assist in negotiations with clients during the tender process, including renegotiations of existing agreements.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Client Interaction: Build relationships with potential clients, attend pre-bid meetings, and address queries related to service offerings.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, and other departments to enhance proposal content.

Market Intelligence:

  • Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Pricing Strategies: Provide insights on pricing models based on market research.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain Records: Keep track of tender documentation, approvals, and correspondence.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor success rates and feedback to improve future submissions.

Your profile:

  • Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing tenders, bids, or proposals for service contracts, preferably in a B2B industrial context.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, ERP, CRM, and document management tools.
  • Solid English communication skills, verbal and written.
