Senior Frontend Engineer (DeFi) - Up to $160K Base + Tokens/Equity

Amicus has recently partnered with a rapidly-growing, profitable DeFi protocol who are searching for an experienced frontend engineer to take end-to-end ownership of their frontend stack.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of frontend initiatives using Next.js, TypeScript, and modern Web3 libraries (e.g., wagmi and viem).
• Implement clean, responsive, and high-performance UIs based on product and design specifications.
• Participate in product discussions, proactively suggest improvements, and take initiative to solve UX or performance bottlenecks.

Requirements:

• 5+ years' of frontend development experience, with strong expertise in React and Next.js.
• Experience building and shipping Web3 applications (wallet integrations, on-chain/off-chain data, smart contract interactions).
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of features from concept to deployment.
• Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, databases, API design) and the ability to contribute to backend planning.
• Based in Europe.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with the following DeFi technologies: Uniswap v3, DEXs, perpetual exchanges, AMMs, market makers, options protocols, borrowing/lending products.

Compensation:

• Fully remote.
