Relay Commerce, a fully remote organisation, seeks a Senior JavaScript Engineer (TypeScript) to design and evolve back-end services powering replenishment, cross-sell, and subscription features for Shopify stores processing millions of transactions.

You will own features end-to-end, shaping architecture with the team and implementing solutions with AI-assisted tooling, while also contributing to React front-ends in a multi-functional, highly autonomous squad.

Qualificações

• Senior-level experience with JavaScript across multiple frameworks (8+ years).
• Extensive experience designing REST APIs for third-party integrations.
• Deep TypeScript expertise with SOLID, OOP, and TDD.
• Strong React proficiency and frontend-backend integration skills.
• Experience with cloud-native AWS services and scalable architectures.
• Desirable: experience with Shopify, predictive algorithms, and observability tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deliver serverless TypeScript services on AWS Lambda backed by MySQL/Prisma.
• Contribute to React-based front-ends and integrate with Shopify/Klaviyo ecosystems.
• Own features end-to-end from concept through production, with AI-assisted tooling.
• Support production systems via operations and escalation procedures.
• Participate in architectural discussions and drive engineering decisions across the team.
• Develop and improve AI-assisted features, enabling LLM integration within the platform.
