Relay Commerce is seeking a Senior JavaScript Engineer to own features end-to-end for high-volume subscription and billing systems. You will design serverless TypeScript services on AWS Lambda and contribute to React front-ends, collaborating with Shopify/Klaviyo ecosystems.

You’ll work in an AI-native, multi-disciplinary team with a focus on reliability, observability, and performance, while leveraging AI agents to accelerate delivery in a fully-remote organisation.

Qualificações

• Senior JavaScript Engineer with extensive full-stack JS/TS experience.
• Significant, proven senior-level experience with JavaScript across multiple frameworks.
• Extensive experience designing REST APIs for third-party integrations.
• Deep TypeScript expertise with strong typing, SOLID, OOP, and TDD.
• Strong SQL and relational DB knowledge (MySQL or similar).
• Proficient in React and integrating with backend APIs.
• Experience with AWS cloud-native services.
• Highly desirable: Predictive algorithms experience.
• Highly desirable: Shopify platform knowledge.
• Highly desirable: SRE and observability tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Work as part of a AI-native, multi-disciplined product engineering team to rapidly deliver modern software.
• Design and deliver serverless TypeScript services on AWS Lambda, backed by MySQL and Prisma ORM.
• Contribute to efficient React applications which rely on our APIs and Shopify/Klaviyo ecosystems.
• Own features end-to-end, shipping solutions to real customer problems.
• Support Customer Success by joining live production escalation schedules.
• Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision making across teams.
• Add agent context to codebases, run coding agents, build MCPs and AI features for LLMs.
• Improve processes, guidelines, and documentation in a fully-remote organisation.
