Test Manager
Our client is looking for a talented Group Technology Test Manager to help our luxury Maisons during their digital transformation journey, with a specific focus on Client & Market domain and its products.
The Client & Market domain comprises product areas covering Retail, Wholesale, E-Commerce, Client Engagement, Online Customer services, Order Management systems, Omnichannel content, among others.
The Test Manager will work in a global environment with highly distributed teams in different countries and time zones and at different management levels.
He/she is responsible to manage an initiative from a Quality Assurance (QA) standpoint and in support to the Program Manager and the team assigned to the initiative. He/she will be joining a team delivering Quality and Program management services, as well as other impactful transversal services, as Release Management coordination, and Business Relationship management. Therewith he/she anticipates, organizes and drives activities around integrated testing with stakeholders within and across Technology Product Areas of our domains, including shore based, and with a varied group of business stakeholders, all related to the assigned initiatives. The scope of activity therefore embraces analysis, design, implementation, and execution of test procedures at every stage of the initiative process, as well as defining testing strategies and test plans to be executed as part of the validation processes. This is including Functional, Security and Performance requirements. With support of the Program Manager, he/she has a key role in escalating critical risks and major deviations.
In specific situations, a Test Manager may be delegated and act as embedded resource within a given Product organization, and will therefore follow the respective ceremonies and instances in agreement with related Product Area Manager and leading roles.
The Test Manager will also recognize when test automation is appropriate to ease the integrated tests and run regression test campaign, together with a QA engineer.
He/she will be responsible for reporting on the test progress, delivery quality status and test results, adapting test plan and compensating as needed to adjust to evolving conditions.
Additionally, the Test Manager has a key role in the Quality Control within the Program deliverables, managed via a documented methodology, and especially requirements for key Milestones of the assigned initiatives.
Test strategies & integrated testing principles include defining the Test Strategy based on best practices and initiative specifics (especially the Release Plan), documenting and enforcing testing processes, understanding the integrated testing effort, mobilizing stakeholders, and proposing Integrated Testing Checkpoints for relevant team deliverables.
Test Plans and their execution include developing Test plans, identifying dependencies and resources, writing/reviewing test cases, coordinating prerequisites, establishing a test traceability matrix, organizing testing meetings, ensuring documentation of testing artefacts, delivering testing deliverables timely, tracking test activities and reporting on results, test case coverage, resources, defects and performance baselines, and escalating critical issues to program management. It also includes QA metrics dashboards and involvement in cutover and production support as needed.
Delivery and ways of working include applying Richemont compliance and security requirements, coordinating QA Engineers, contributing to tracking new requirements or change requests, and ensuring frameworks and practices are applied consistently across teams while allowing fit-for-purpose customization.
Contributor to Community of Practices include sharing QA KPI outcomes, best practices, lessons learned, and active participation in QA Community of Practice.
Quality Assurance in Programs involves promoting quality across stakeholders, supporting the Program Manager in Quality Control readiness of deliverables by Milestones, and involvement in Cutover plan executions and post go-live root cause analysis support.
