Job summary

Wire IT in Lisbon is seeking an experienced DBA SQL Server to manage SQL Server instances, ensure high availability, and lead migrations. You will work in a hybrid setup with a focus on performance tuning and monitoring.

The role requires 5+ years in a similar role, deep SQL Server expertise (2016+), and experience with clustering/Always On. We offer health insurance, vacation, meal allowance, referral bonuses, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a similar SQL Server DBA role.
• Management of SQL Server servers and instances (SQL Server 2016+), in alwayson, clustered and standalone environments.
• Experience creating and managing migration/consolidation plans for high-availability environments.
• Experience in analyzing and monitoring the database infrastructure using monitoring tools.
• Ability to analyze and tune the performance of the instance or queries.
