Axians leads complex, cloud-native distributed systems across domains. This Solution Architecture Lead will build and guide a team of Solution Architects, translating long-term target architecture into pragmatic guidance and ensuring alignment with Enterprise Architecture.

You will drive architecture strategy, manage technical debt, improve system availability and resilience including NIS2 considerations, and collaborate with Product, Security, and Engineering.

Qualificações

• Degree in computer science or equivalent professional background.
• Several years of professional experience in Software or Solution Architecture.
• Leadership experience (team lead, chapter lead, technical lead, architecture manager).
• Strong hands-on background in software engineering with modern programming languages, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and distributed systems.
• Understanding of architecture concepts for high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Ability to balance speed of delivery with system robustness while managing technical debt.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with practical execution capability.
• Excellent English skills (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.

Responsabilidades

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Solution Architects.
• Own the Solution Architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap across multiple engineering domains.
• Drive end-to-end architectural alignment across business capabilities.
• Actively manage, reduce, and control technical debt to maintain long-term agility.
• Evolve architecture and platforms to enable rapid and reliable delivery of future features.
• Improve system availability and resilience by defining architectural standards for high availability, DR, BC, and risk management (including NIS2).
• Establish measurable reliability practices, including resilience reviews and failure testing.
• Provide hands-on guidance to product teams and engineers building scalable, secure, cloud-native distributed systems.
• Ensure alignment between Engineering, EA, Security, and Product with modern architectural patterns.
