Kardex is seeking a Senior Software Test and Integration Engineer in Lisbon to strengthen the WES Software EMEA team. You will lead testing, software integration with ERP/WMS/PLC systems, and provide 2nd/3rd level support within a 24/7 rotation.

We value a technical degree in Software Engineering and 5–7 years of experience with web/WES/WCS integrations, plus strong SQL skills and hands-on testing tools like Selenium and Appium.

Responsabilidades

• Testing: Develop and execute test plans for functional, performance, security, and regression testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with Development to resolve issues.
• Define test strategy, best practices, and mentor junior test engineers.
• Ensure test runs and results are delivered within agreed timelines.
• Software Integration: Integrate WES software with customer systems (ERP, WMS, PLC/controls).
• Configure interfaces and commission software onsite with project teams.
• Train customers on system usage and operational workflows.
• Maintain system documentation and ensure plant know-how is up to date.
• Lead complex integration projects and act as technical escalation point.
• 2nd-Level Support: Handle escalated incidents in a 24/7 support rotation (6-person team).
• Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and collaborate with Development on bug fixes.
• Ensure clear documentation and handover between shifts.
• Mentor junior colleagues during support shifts.
• Technical Leadership: Plan resources and create shift schedules for the support team.
• Ensure knowledge sharing, documentation quality, and onboarding of new team members.
• Drive continuous improvement and challenge existing processes where needed.
