A global logistics provider is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to manage and develop technology infrastructure that powers its global systems. You will design and implement systems to support daily operations and work collaboratively across various business units. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Computer Science and over 6 years of C# and .NET experience. Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) – Kuehne+Nagel

About the role

In this IT role, you will manage, develop, and support the technology infrastructure that powers Kuehne+Nagel’s global systems and operations. Your work enables our teams to deliver fresh fruit, time‑sensitive healthcare products and much more to people all around the world.

How you create impact

• Design and implement systems and integrations that support the global operations of a leading logistics provider.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across our Air, Sea, Road, and Contract Logistics business units to refine requirements and streamline processes that enable the daily movement of goods worldwide.
• Operate and monitor the solutions you build, providing third‑level support to ensure high availability and reliable performance.
• Create and maintain documentation for both operational teams and end users.

What we would like you to bring

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge.
• 6+ years of professional experience, ideally in a corporate environment.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET for desktop application development.
• Proven experience with WinForms and/or WPF; experience with DevExpress is a strong plus.
• Solid skills in relational database programming; Java with Spring Boot/Quarkus is advantageous.
• Broad technical flexibility, including understanding of networking concepts and UI/UX principles.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a proactive, improvement‑driven work ethic.
• Willingness to take on challenges and fluent English (written and spoken).
