Senior Backend Engineer (m/f/d)

You will take technical ownership of Java-based application development and play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture of our logistics solutions. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive the full software lifecycle from concept to production while continuously improving our systems through integration of modern tools and technologies. This role is ideal for someone with a strong architectural mindset, hands‑on Java expertise, and a passion for agile development.

How you create impact

• Take technical ownership of application development with a strong focus on Java.
• Design and evolve service‑oriented architectures tailored to the logistics industry.
• Drive the full development lifecycle: ideation, design, prototyping, implementation, and production integration.
• Collaborate with product owners and domain experts across business units to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance system performance and maintainability.
• Advanced hands‑on experience with Java technologies such as Spring Boot, JPA (Hibernate), JUnit, and Mockito; good to have experience with Swing and/or SWT for desktop application development.
