Job summary

SingleStore, Inc. is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Helios team to own release-defining projects across distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, networking, and database tech.

Open to multiple levels; leveling will be based on experience and leadership during interviews. You will work across control and data planes, operator, networking, and the customer portal, with end-to-end ownership and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and G&A to ensure successful product

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with distributed systems and cloud services.
• 5+ years developing system-level software in Golang or TypeScript.
• Proven track record leading complex projects from design to production.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex cross-functional technical initiatives from conception to deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, customers, and engineers to deliver a high-quality experience.
• Drive engineering standards, CI/CD, observability, and testing to scale reliably.
• Solve mission-critical system problems with scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with stakeholders to raise the technical bar.
• Communicate complex technical decisions and trade-offs clearly, impacting performance and reliability.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and G&A to support product delivery and customer success.
