Job summary

Bosch Home Comfort Portugal is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Aveiro team. You will design and optimize CI/CD workflows, automate builds and tests, and ensure high software quality across the development lifecycle.

You will collaborate with international teams, work in a hybrid model, and contribute to scalable build infrastructure while leveraging tools like Jenkins, Git, and IaC technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Solid experience in software development, CI/CD, DevOps, and agile practices at scale.
• Programming: Bash, Git, Python, Go, and C.
• Operating Systems: Linux and Windows.
• DevOps Tooling: Jenkins, SonarQube, jFrog Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jira, and GitHub.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Ansible, Terraform; server administration (Windows/Linux) é um plus.
• MATLAB/Simulink, NoSQL (MongoDB), Grafana, Conan, Maven são benéficos.
• Fluent in English.

• Enable continuous development: Design and improve CI/CD workflows.
• Enhance automation: Automate builds, tests, code analysis, packaging, and release activities.
• Put software quality first: Emphasize testability, reproducible builds, version control, traceability, and maintainability.
• Partner with engineers: Collaborate with software teams to drive platform improvements.
• Improve developer experience: Reduce repetitive manual work and improve change validation.
• Keep delivery systems dependable: Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot issues across teams.
• Scale delivery infrastructure: Contribute to reliable cloud-based build infrastructure.
