Talkdesk, Inc. in Porto, Portugal, is seeking experienced Software Engineers to join our cloud-based product teams.

You will develop scalable microservices and APIs, implement robust CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with product and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality software. The role emphasizes Kotlin/Java/Spring Boot, SOA/API design, and working in an Agile environment with a focus on test automation and secure, clean code.

Qualificações

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, or Engineering.
• 5+ years of software development experience in cloud-based applications.
• Strong experience with web applications and OO programming.
• Proficient with Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with SOA/APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with microservices and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis or Elasticsearch.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable microservices and APIs.
• Collaborate with Product and other engineering teams to meet requirements.
• Implement scalable, stable software with automated testing.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.
• Work in an Agile environment with peer reviews and continuous improvement.
• Ensure data integrity and security in system integrations.
