OSQuay – an iLink Digital Company in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our core migration program, moving an enterprise platform from OutSystems to a modern React and Node.js stack. You will critically review AI-generated code, resolve complex edge cases, and build core integrations for ERP, CRM, authentication, BI, and webhooks while supporting data migration and validating scripts.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our core migration program, transitioning a central enterprise platform from OutSystems to a modern React and Node.js stack.

In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring code quality and security within an innovative AI Agentic Delivery model. Instead of writing bulk code from scratch, your primary focus will be critically reviewing AI-generated code (Claude Code), resolving complex technical edge cases, and building critical core integrations!

What you will do:

• Critically review (code review) all code generated by AI agents before merging, ensuring correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Solve complex technical challenges and edge cases that the AI fleet cannot handle autonomously.
• Develop and validate critical enterprise integrations (ERP, CRM, authentication, BI, third-party webhooks).
• Support data migration efforts, including script validation, data mapping, and integrity testing.
• Collaborate closely with the Architect-Orchestrator to enforce quality gates (using tools like SonarQube) and architectural standards.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer.
• Strong code review capabilities with a sharp eye for software quality, security vulnerabilities, and system performance.
• Solid mastery of React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Proven experience in system integration (REST APIs, webhooks, ERP/CRM connectors).
• High comfort level working in an AI-agentic paradigm where the core responsibility is reviewing, debugging, and steering AI code rather than writing everything manually.
• Location & Work Model: Hybrid regime (1-2 days per week at the office) in Lisbon, Portugal.

Nice to Have: Background with OutSystems (to understand the legacy system), data migration experience, SonarQube, or React Native.
