Körber is seeking a Senior Software Architect for Digital Twin to design robust, scalable software for logistics applications. This remote/flexible role emphasizes architectural leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and modern development practices.

The candidate will mentor engineers, define standards, and evaluate new technologies to enhance the portfolio. A degree in CS/SE and strong C#/.Net expertise are required.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable software architectures for logistics applications.
• Analyze existing systems and identify opportunities for optimization and modernization.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
• Define and promote architectural standards and best practices across development teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance our logistics software portfolio.

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong background in developing C# / .Net projects.
• Broad overview of development methods and software patterns.
• Experience in developing modular and expandable software.
• Good knowledge of interface technologies / API design.
• E.G. plane TCP/IP socket, Rest, Websocket in both design and technical implementation.
• Ability to select correct level of complexity - not all problems demand rocket-science complex solutions.
• Awareness of stability and performance with respect to computing power and memory.
• Basic knowledge of state-of-the-art security concepts.
