KCS IT is seeking a Senior Software Architect for a hybrid role in Portugal, based in Lisbon. You will define and enforce development standards across frontend and backend, guide teams in modern architectures, and drive secure, scalable deployments using container platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong backend skills (Node.js, Java, Python).
• Experience with microservices, CI/CD, and automation.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-changing environment.
• Good level of English.

Responsibilities

• Make technical decisions in projects using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Define development guidelines and support teams in following best practices across frontend technologies (React, Angular, Vue) and backend technologies (Node.js, Java, Python).
• Use and manage container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes to ensure applications are deployed efficiently, reliably, and securely.
• Design and improve enterprise application architectures that can grow while maintaining good performance, security, and easy maintenance.
