ITDS is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the stability and resilience of banking infrastructure in Porto, with a hybrid work model (3 days home). This role involves providing operational support, troubleshooting IT infrastructure issues, and driving technical projects. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 5 years in Linux IT projects, proficiency in Shell and Python scripting, and experience with deployment and monitoring tools. A right to work in Europe is essential.

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer – Banking Infrastructure, you will be working for our client in the banking industry, ensuring the robustness and resilience of critical financial systems. Play a pivotal role in maintaining the stability of essential IT services while shaping the future of banking technology excellence.

Your main responsibilities:

• Provide operational support and resolve incidents across all environments to ensure uninterrupted banking services.
• Deliver Level 3 support on IT infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues effectively.
• Ensure application stability via comprehensive monitoring and resilient architecture design.
• Drive technical projects, collaborating with infrastructure and development teams to implement scalable solutions.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of technical architecture supporting business initiatives.
• Automate and optimize tools and procedures using scripting languages like Shell and Python.
• Guarantee security compliance of architecture in line with industry standards and best practices.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux IT projects.
• Strong expertise in Linux environments; knowledge of Windows Server is a plus.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell and Python.
• Good understanding of web servers and security protocols.
• Familiarity with schedulers (Control-M, VTOM) and monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, ELK).
• Experience with deployment tools such as GIT, Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Openshift, Docker.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Certifications or experience in related security standards or cloud technologies.
