Kraken is seeking a senior IT audit professional to lead external audit programs and strengthen our IT control environment in a fast-growing crypto technology company. You will partner with Security, IT, and Finance to design, implement, and optimize controls across cloud and on‑premise stacks.

Applicants should bring 5+ years in external IT audit or risk assurance, hands-on SOX/ICFR experience, and a proven ability to drive audits end-to-end in a regulated, dynamic environment.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in external IT audit and/or technology risk assurance with ownership of complex audit requirements.
• Strong hands-on experience with ICFR and SOX 404 frameworks, control design and testing.
• Experience with Big 4 or equivalent external auditors in regulated environments.
• Ability to lead compliance initiatives end-to-end from planning to remediation and close.
• Experience auditing hybrid and cloud environments (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) and related access/change/logging controls.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage SOC 1 and SOC 2 examinations under AICPA standards with auditors and internal teams.
• Support end-to-end SOX planning and execution, including IT scoping, audit readiness, and control training for owners.
• Act as trusted advisor to Security, IT, Infrastructure, Engineering, Data, and Finance teams on controls.
• Lead control gap assessments, evaluate design/effectiveness, and drive remediation with owners.
• Mature ITGCs/ITACs while balancing regulatory expectations with product velocity.
• Ensure high-quality audits and durable control environments across the organization.
• Develop auditor-ready documentation, including data flow and process flowcharts.
