Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a senior SCADA lead engineer to guide technical design and implementation of SCADA/control systems for energy projects, with emphasis on offshore wind. You will lead engineering tasks, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

You will manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk, while driving process improvements and ensuring high-quality deliverables across the Network, SCADA & Cyber team in Caparica, PT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Electrical/Control Systems or Computer Science.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of professional SCADA/I&C engineering and technical project management experience.
• Experience in energy sector, offshore wind or substation automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, specification, and implementation of SCADA and control systems for energy projects, especially offshore wind.
• Provide expert guidance and third-level support for troubleshooting complex SCADA issues.
• Define and maintain engineering standards, best practices, and technical documentation for SCADA solutions.
