Job summary

HumanIT Digital Consulting is seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Developer (ABAP) to design, build and extend SAP S/4HANA solutions. You will leverage modern ABAP, CDS Views, AMDPs and OData to deliver enhanced functionality and OpenText VIM integrations across SAP FI—Accounts Payable.

You will collaborate with functional teams, perform code reviews, and drive migration readiness from ECC to S/4HANA while maintaining clean core principles. Fluent English is required in a European remote environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ABAP development experience, with at least 2 years on SAP S/4HANA.
• Hands-on experience with SAP VIM (OpenText Vendor Invoice Management).
• Experience with OpenText solutions for SAP (e.g. Archive Server, Document Access, Intelligent Capture).
• Solid knowledge of SAP FI, particularly Accounts Payable processes.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP 7.4+/7.5 syntax and ABAP OO.
• Hands-on experience with CDS Views, AMDP and OData.
• Experience with RAP.
• Solid knowledge of classic ABAP objects (reports, ALV, BAPIs, BAdIs, IDocs, forms).
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP S/4HANA solutions using modern ABAP.
• Build CDS Views, AMDPs and OData services.
• Develop applications using the RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) model.
• Implement enhancements (BAdIs, key user and developer extensibility) in line with Clean Core.
• Develop and support SAP VIM solutions integrated with SAP FI.
• Support ECC to S/4HANA migration activities (custom code adaptation, remediation).
• Work with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, performance tuning and technical documentation.
