We are looking for a Senior ABAP Developer to join our team (up to €55k/year)!

In this role, you will take a leading position in the design, development, and maintenance of custom SAP applications and interfaces across S/4HANA and BTP environments. You’ll be working on modern ABAP development (RAP), building Fiori applications, and integrating with Project Systems (WBS elements), ensuring scalable and future-proof solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on developer who enjoys end-to-end ownership, from architecture through to deployment and support.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable applications using modern ABAP (RAP model).
Develop and extend Fiori/UI5 apps with OData services for seamless user experience.
Integrate custom applications with SAP Project Systems (WBS elements) and CJ20N structures.
Build and maintain SAP BTP extensions using Business Application Studio and Extension Suite.
Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot interfaces using SAP AIF, including error handling routines.
Align data models with financial/logistics objects for enhanced project-based reporting.
Manage connectivity, destinations, and secure API consumption within BTP subaccounts.
Support Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices in SAP development environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience (classical and modern).
Deep knowledge of RAP model: CDS views, behavior definitions, metadata extensions.
Proven experience in Fiori Elements and custom Fiori app development.
Strong understanding of SAP BTP architecture, tools, and extension capabilities.
Proficiency in creating and managing OData v2/v4 services.
Experience working with WBS elements, CJ20N objects, and integration with PS module.
Familiarity with SAP AIF for interface management and error resolution.
Solution-oriented mindset with strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently on complex development tasks.
Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and functional teams.
Passion for innovation and continuous learning in SAP’s evolving ecosystem.
Organizational skills to manage parallel streams in dynamic project environments.
