A leading technology firm in Ovar is seeking a Senior SAP S/4 ABAP Developer to work on full-stack ABAP development. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, proficiency in modern SAP technologies, and strong collaborative skills. Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

As a SAP experienced senior programmer you will:

• Full-stack ABAP Development: Work on both classical and modern technologies, including ABAP OO, CDS, Fiori Elements, and IDoc, within the SAP S/4 On-Premise Release 2021 environment.
• Requirement Analysis & Collaboration: Understand and refine requirements by working closely with functional consultants in SD/MM areas.
• End-to-End Development: Perform development tasks, conduct rigorous testing, and manage deployments and bug fixes.
• Team Collaboration: Actively share knowledge and collaborate within a dynamic and skilled developer group.
  
  

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience, including at least one end-to-end implementation.

Know How:

• Proficiency in S/4 development: CDS, Fiori Elements, OData, Analytic Queries.
• Expertise in classical ABAP: OO, BAdI, User Exit, IDoc, Report.
• Knowledge of tools: ADT Eclipse, BAS, Git, Postman.
• Familiarity with Restful ABAP, ABAP Unit Test, Adobe Forms, and design patterns.
• Functional knowledge of one or more SAP modules, such as SD or MM.
• Experience with system customizing.

Languages: Fluent communication in English (German is a plus).

Working Style and Methods: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement efficient solutions.

Personality: High conscientiousness, logical thinking, and creativity. Team-oriented with a structured and detail-focused approach to complex challenges.
