We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) Consultant to join our SAP transformation programs. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in core Finance processes, with experience in end-to-end implementations and a solid understanding of modern S/4HANA architectures, particularly in Private Cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) solutions across the full project lifecycle: requirements, design, build, testing (SIT/UAT), go-live, and hypercare.
- Lead workshops and design sessions for core Finance processes (GL, Financial Close, AP, AR) and translate business needs into scalable SAP solutions.
- Configure and customize FI/CO settings, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices and Finance transformation drivers (automation and data-driven reporting).
- Prepare functional specifications (FS) and collaborate with ABAP/technical teams on enhancements, interfaces, and developments impacting Finance processes.
- Support solution design and documentation, ensuring traceability from requirements to configuration and test evidence.
- Plan and execute SIT/UAT activities, coordinate defect resolution, and ensure quality of functional deliverables.
- Ensure robust integration and data consistency between FI/CO and SD/MM, supporting end-to-end Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay financial flows and reconciliations.
- Contribute to S/4HANA Finance architecture decisions (Universal Journal/ACDOCA, simplified data model) and integration with reporting and analytics layers.
- Support deployments in S/4HANA Private Cloud (preferred) and advise on differences vs. On-Premise/Public Cloud approaches.
- Work effectively with Finance stakeholders (Accounting, Controlling, FP&A) and cross-functional SAP streams, bridging business and IT perspectives.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on SAP FI/CO experience, primarily in implementation projects.
- Project Background: Participation in at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementations (full lifecycle).
- S/4HANA: Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance environments (Private Cloud and/or On-Premise).
- Functional Expertise: Strong functional and technical understanding of SAP S/4HANA FI/CO and core Finance processes (GL, Financial Close, AP, AR).
- Configuration: Hands‑on experience in FI/CO configuration/customizing.
- Delivery: Exposure to requirement gathering, business process design, functional specifications, solution design, testing (SIT/UAT), and go‑live/hyper‑care support.
- Integration: Good understanding of FI/CO integration points with SD and MM, including data consistency and reconciliation across Finance and Logistics.
- Functional–Technical Collaboration: Ability to produce FS and guide technical developments with ABAP teams; awareness of data structures and reporting requirements.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English languages.
Additional Advantage
- Experience in Finance transformation programs (e.g., S/4 conversions or redesign initiatives).
- Exposure to advanced Finance capabilities such as Group Reporting, Revenue Accounting (RAR), and/or Central Finance.
- SAP S/4HANA Finance certifications and/or exposure to Public Cloud implementations.
What We Offer
- Participation in large-scale SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation programs.
- Exposure to modern Finance architectures and digital transformation initiatives.
- Opportunity to work across complex, integrated business and system landscapes.
