Job summary

Continental is seeking an experienced SAP CO/Finance IT specialist to support the Controlling workstream across design, configuration, and rollout of the S/4HANA template, including CO-PA and Product Cost Controlling.

You will clarify requirements in Fit-to-Template sessions, draft functional specs, run CO test scenarios (unit, integration, UAT), and ensure data integrity across FI, MM, SD and PP in a global, cross‑functional team. Travel up to 30% and strong English are required.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in business/finance or comparable field.
• 5+ years in SAP CO or Finance IT roles, with at least one SAP deployment.
• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO), CO-PA, and Product Cost Controlling.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA Finance architecture and Universal Journal (ACDOCA).
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications for Controlling.
• ABAP knowledge (reading code and debugging).
• Experience in international, cross-functional project teams.
• SAP Controlling certification is a plus (C_TS4CO or C_S4CCO).
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Support the Controlling workstream across design, configuration, and rollout of the S/4HANA template.
• Clarify requirements in Fit-to-Template workshops and translate business needs into functional specs.
• Support configuration of CO areas: Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Cost Controlling, CO-PA.
• Leverage Universal Journal and real-time FI-CO integration for reconciled data.
• Coordinate CO deliverables, timelines, and system readiness.
• Prepare and execute CO test scenarios (unit, integration, UAT).
• Migrate CO master and transactional data and ensure data consistency.
• Guide business users during rollout and hypercare; identify improvement opportunities.
