Findmore Consulting S.A. in Portugal is seeking an experienced SAP Cloud Developer with ABAP to join our growing team, delivering cloud-native solutions.

You will work on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, CAP, RAP, CDS, OData, BTP, CPI, and RESTful integrations, contributing to clean core extensions and reliable CI/CD pipelines. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on SAP cloud development, strong problem solving, security awareness, and the ability to translate functional needs into scalable

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional SAP Cloud Development experience with ABAP.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud experience mandatory.
• Strong experience with RAP, CDS, OData, and BAdIs in Public Cloud.
• Knowledge of Fit-to-Standard and Clean Core principles and SAP CAP.
• Experience with SAP BTP, CAP (Node.js/Java), and CPI.
• REST/JSON/XML integrations, SAP CPQ, CPI, and BTP awareness.
• Ability to translate MM/SD/CPQ requirements into scalable tech solutions.
• CI/CD, automated testing, and secure coding practices.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and support SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions following Fit-to-Standard and Clean Core.
• Deliver clean-core extensions using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS, OData, and BAdIs.
• Develop side-by-side extensions using SAP CAP on SAP BTP.
• Design and implement RAP services, CAP microservices, and CPI iFlows.
• Ensure reliable integrations across SAP CPQ, S/4HANA, CPI, and BTP.
• Develop UI5/Fiori Elements, pricing extensions, and workflow automation.
• Build custom fields and RESTful integrations; define error-handling strategies.
• Implement automated tests and contribute to CI/CD and code reviews.
• Perform performance tuning and ensure secure coding with observability.
• Troubleshoot using logs/traces/metrics; document CPI iFlows and payloads.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Develop and support SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions following Fit-to-Standard, Clean Core, and scalable architecture principles.
• Deliver clean-core extensions using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS, OData, and BAdIs.
• Develop side-by-side extensions using SAP CAP on SAP BTP.
• Design and implement RAP services, CAP microservices, and SAP CPI iFlows using Groovy/XSLT.
• Ensure reliable integrations across SAP CPQ, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CPI, and SAP BTP.
• Develop UI5/Fiori Elements extensions, Fiori applications, pricing extensions, and workflow automation.
• Build custom fields and integrate them through RESTful APIs.
• Define error-handling, retry, idempotency, and bulk-load strategies for APIs.
• Implement automated unit, API, and integration testing and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and code reviews.
• Perform performance tuning across CDS, APIs, pagination, buffering, and parallelization.
• Ensure secure coding practices, secrets management, least-privilege access, and observability through logs, alerts, and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis using logs, traces, and metrics.
• Debug and document CPI iFlows and JSON/XML payloads.
• Develop Adobe Forms and backend layout changes using OOP principles.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational handover materials.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience as an SAP Cloud Developer with ABAP.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Strong hands-on experience with RAP, CDS, OData, and BAdIs in Public Cloud environments.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Fit-to-Standard and Clean Core principles. SAP identifies ABAP Cloud as the required development model for S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, with RAP as a key programming model for cloud-ready applications and services.
• Experience with SAP BTP and cloud extension scenarios.
• Experience with SAP CAP, preferably using Node.js and/or Java.
• Strong experience with SAP CPI, including iFlows, Groovy scripting, Value/Content Modifiers, and Exception Subprocess.
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud SDK, Destinations, XSUAA, Event Mesh, and Cloud Foundry.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON/XML.
• Experience with integrations involving SAP CPQ, S/4HANA, CPI, and BTP.
• Ability to translate MM/SD/CPQ functional requirements into secure and scalable technical solutions.
• Knowledge of CBC dependencies affecting extensibility and transport behaviour.
• Ability to perform capacity planning, monitor BTP consumption, and consider cost implications.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.

Nice to Have:

• SAP Certified Associate – Back-End Developer – ABAP Cloud.
• Experience with SAP CPQ scripting and customisation.
• Experience with Event Mesh and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing in SAP Cloud environments.
• Knowledge of cloud security, observability, and operational monitoring.
• Experience working closely with MM/SD functional teams.
• Experience communicating technical trade-offs between performance, scope, cost, and delivery timelines.
