Optiwisers is seeking an experienced SAP Cloud Developer – ABAP to join an international team in Porto. You will design and implement scalable, secure ABAP cloud solutions in S/4HANA Public Cloud and extensions.

Work is hybrid: four to five days per month onsite in Porto, with a focus on Clean Core, RAP, CAP, OData and SAP BTP. Fluent English is required and collaboration with global stakeholders is essential.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of proven experience as an SAP Cloud Developer with ABAP.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS and OData.
• Experience with SAP BTP and CAP.
• Hands-on experience with SAP CPI/iFlows, including Groovy scripting.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON/XML payloads.
• Good understanding of cloud integration, security and scalable architecture.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and support SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions following Clean Core principles.
• Design and implement RAP services, CAP applications and CPI iFlows.
• Develop secure APIs and integrations across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP CPQ and SAP CPI.
• Implement custom logic, workflows, pricing extensions and automation.
• Ensure integration reliability through proper error handling, retry mechanisms and monitoring.
• Implement automated unit, API and integration testing and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis using logs, traces and metrics.
• Optimize application performance through CDS annotations, pagination and parallelization.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks and development standards.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Cloud Developer – ABAP to join an international team working on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud development and cloud-based extensions.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure solutions following Clean Core principles, working across SAP BTP, ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, CPI and Fiori/UI5.

Key Responsibilities
