Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a Salesforce Developer for a hybrid, permanent role. The position focuses on designing and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, and Visualforce while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will work on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud integrations, ensure security compliance, and contribute to DevOps and CI/CD processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/SE or related field.
• 6 to 8 years of professional experience, with 4 to 8 years Salesforce development experience.
• Strong experience in Salesforce development including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, Triggers, and Batch Apex.
• Proven experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Solid understanding of the Salesforce security model including profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
• Experience designing integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release management processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders in Agile environments.
• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, or App Builder.
• Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud.
• Knowledge of MuleSoft integration platform.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps Center and automated deployment tools.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).
• Experience with large-scale enterprise Salesforce implementations.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
• Customize Salesforce applications and features to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Create and optimize custom objects, workflows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring platform stability and performance.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements.
• Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to technical architecture decisions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices.
• Support deployment and release management activities across multiple environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and development standards.
• Provide post-implementation support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
