MWDN in Israel is seeking experienced engineers with 5+ years in systems programming to join our core R&D team. You will own complex, performance-critical components from inception to delivery in a high-autonomy environment, collaborating with top engineers on cutting-edge infrastructure.

Work focuses on Rust-based execution engines and advanced performance tuning for distributed systems like Spark, Hadoop, and Ray. We offer flexible hours and full support for independent contractors.

Qualificações

• Expertise in Rust.
• Strong understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience in low-level system architecture.
• Experience with multi-threading, memory layout optimization, or custom allocators.
• Proven ability to take full ownership of complex challenges from inception to delivery, with strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to dive into unfamiliar codebases and optimize them quickly.
• Comfortable working with minimal abstraction layers in high-performance environments.
• Fluent English (C1).

Responsabilidades
