Workato is seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our growing team in Lisbon. You will build API interfaces and backend infrastructure, collaborating with UI, connectivity, and DevOps to craft elegant solutions to complex problems.

You will lead development across Rails applications, server-side UI infrastructure, and end-to-end lifecycle activities, delivering robust, scalable code and driving architectural improvements while exploring new technologies.

Qualificações

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years building Rails applications.
• Strong knowledge of Ruby.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis-based caching.
• Contributions to open-source are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build complex Ruby on Rails applications.
• Build server-side infrastructure for the Workato UI.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• Evaluate and propose improvements to the existing system.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
