Job summary

VML Enterprise Solutions in Portugal is seeking a Senior Project Manager and Release Manager to lead delivery teams across complex client environments. You will collaborate with developers, architects and stakeholders, guiding releases, defining governance, and ensuring alignment with business goals.

You will manage technical risks, coordinate internal specialists, apply Agile or Waterfall methods, and coach junior PMs.

Qualifications

• Project Management experience, and ecommerce experience ideally within a retail environment.
• Ability to read log files, draw conclusions and direct further technical investigation.
• Familiarity with cloud/on prem infrastructure and hosting solutions.
• Defining, managing and delivering to customer expectations within strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Release and technical reporting regarding project/account technical deliverables, architecture and release pipeline.
• Identify technical risks and issues and provide mitigation options.
• Communicate with stakeholders including chairing technical meetings as required.
• Coordinate internal technical specialists and lead the team to achieve objectives.
• Provide support to junior Technical Project Managers and give constructive feedback.
